Every Collector Has a Story.
In 1976, my Godparents gave me a Bicentennial coin set, a gift I still have to this day.
At the time, it was just that… a gift. But over the years, it became something much more. Every time I picked it up, I wasn’t just looking at coins, I was holding a piece of history. The detail, the weight, the symbolism of a nation’s 200th year… it all meant something.
That set never sat forgotten. It stayed with me, through different stages of life, always pulling me back in. What started as curiosity quickly turned into fascination, and that fascination grew into a genuine respect for the craftsmanship, the stories, and the legacy behind every piece.
From there, it expanded naturally. Coins led to collectibles. Collectibles led to a deeper appreciation for history itself, from sports cards to comics, historical documents and art, each one carrying its own story, its own moment in time.
Looking back, that one gift didn’t just introduce me to collecting… it ignited something.
